Former Wales Manager John Toshack Has Been Appointed Manager Of FYR Macedonia And He Resigned After Six Years in Charge Of Wales

Former Wales manager John Toshack has been appointed manager of FYR Macedonia and the 62-year-old had been out of work and resigning from his position with the Wales after the 1-0 Euro 2012 qualifier defeat in a Montenegro in September 2010.

Macedonia who sacked manager Mirsad Jonuz in a June after a string of the poor results of a face Wales and Scotland in 2014 World Cup qualifiers and toshack's 1st game in the charge will be against Russia on 2 September and the match will be a Euro 2012 qualifier in a Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow and the toshack's 1st home match will be against Andorra 4 days later.

John Toshack highlights for a 1949 Born in Cardiff, 1966 Joins Cardiff City, 1970 Joins Liverpool, wins 3 league titles, 2 Uefa Cups and 1 FA Cup, 1981 Takes Swansea to the Frist Division after securing third promotion in 4 years, 1985 Appointed Real Sociedad manager, 1989 Joins Real Madrid, winning La Liga title in 1st season, 1994 Back at Sociedad, takes part-time role with Wales but resigns after one game , 2004 Appointed Wales manager, 2010 Resigns as Wales manager and the 2011 Named manager of FYR Macedonia.
