Arsenal Midfielder Alex Song Has Been Handed a Three Match Ban Immediate Effect After He Accepted A Charge Of Violent Conduct

Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has been handed a 3 match ban after accepting a charge of violent conduct and he was handed the charge after stamping on Newcastle's Joey Barton during Arsenal's goalless draw at St James' Park last weekend and the incident was missed by a referee Peter Walton during game for the Football Association decided to act after reviewing video footage.

Arsenal's Alex Song is a 3 match suspension with immediate effect after he accepted a charge of violent conduct, read an FA statement and he was charged following in incident during Arsenal's fixture at Newcastle United on Saturday 13th August and he along with Gunners team mate Gervinho who was sent off in a same game for raising his hands to Barton, will miss Arsenal's next 3 Premier League games against Liverpool, Manchester United and Swansea.
