Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Summer To Forget

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists that this summer has been 'hell' for him and the Gunners chief has overseen one of the most turbulent in the club's recent history of a arsenal came off the back of yet another trophy-less season with many of a expecting a major impact in the transfer market and the main deals were all out-goings as Gael Clichy, Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri departed.

Wenger managed to salvage something with a flurry of deadline-day signings and will task of his new players with restoring the club's title credentials after an embarrassing 8-2 hammering at Manchester United in a last Premier League game in my job you expect to suffer that's why when I go to hell one day it will be less painful for me than you will because I'm used to suffering," he said, and i could write a book about the summer of the most disturbed we have had since I have been here.

The book would be quite an interesting read and not because of me and because of all that happened to was unbelievable and wenger insists that the club's new look squad which was bolstered by the signings of Park Chu-young, Mikel Arteta, Yossi Benayoun and the Per Mertesacker and Andre Santos will mount a title challenge.

I must say, Fabregas and Nasri played completely well and respectfully, but they were not completely here was no resentment and there was maybe more from the players who were here to a uncertainty about our potential and about our determination to strengthen the squad.
